The Zurbar谩n Centre for Spanish and Latin American Art at 人妻直播 invites applications for a doctoral scholarship in Spanish art-historical studies, commencing in the academic year 2021/22.
The scholarship has been created thanks to the generous support of the CEEH (Centro de Estudios Europa Hisp谩nica) in association with ARTES and The Auckland Project. It supports innovative research focusing on Spanish art from the Golden Age to around 1900, including the reception of Spanish art in Britain. The successful candidate will enjoy privileged access to the Spanish Gallery at The Auckland Project in Bishop Auckland.
The scholarship is tenable for three years full-time (or five years part-time).
It is worth 拢20,000 per year over the course of three years (or 拢12,000 per year over a course of five years).
The University host department may be able to offer paid teaching and/or further research assistance opportunities.
Home and International students are welcome to apply.
In the case of Home students: the scholarship will cover tuition fees and an annual maintenance allowance.
In the case of international students: the scholarship covers most of their international rate tuition fees.
International students will need to provide proof that they are able to cover the remaining costs of their tuition fees and maintenance through their own funds.

All applicants also need to provide a sample of academic writing (3000-5000 words). This may be a previous essay, MA dissertation excerpt or research paper.

The application deadline is 31st March 2021.
A Selection Panel headed by the Director of the Zurbar谩n Centre will meet soon after the application deadline to consider the submitted proposal and its relevance to the research parameters of the Scholarship.
